Extended Skills Training (FRACGP)
Registrars on the RACGP pathway are required to complete 6 months of Extended Skills Training in an area of special interest. This six-month post is undertaken for the purpose of extending the depth and breadth of the Registrar's skill base in an area relevant to primary medical care. This can include terms in hospital, general practice and other health settings. Registrars select one discipline in which to gain further skills.

- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health
- Academic General Practice
- General Practice
- Palliative Care
- Mental Health
- Skin Cancer Medicine
- Sports Medicine
