2018 AGPT Selection

The selection process for the 2018 Australian General Practice Training (AGPT) program is managed directly by AGPT, the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) and the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM).

Applications for the AGPT program will open on 10 April 2017 and close on 8 May 2017. Doctors interested in pursuing speciality training in General Practice need to apply in the first instance to the AGPT. Further details are available on the AGPT website.

Once AGPT has confirmed eligibility, applications will be forwarded to RACGP and/or ACRRM. GMT will work closely with each college once candidates have been shortlisted to our region.
